Halloweenie

We had Halloween Carnival at church this year, and guess who was in charge of it?? I should've taken more pictures but it was a great success and I never want to do it again.

The photobooth.

The next day my folks flew in for a visit and it was a ton of fun, as usual.
Pumpkin carving, cookie making, and stellar costumes from Grandma, as usual.

I think one of my favorite things was this veggie skeleton my mom made.
She's seriously such a fun grandma!

I don't know why, but Fischer loves this tiny parrot costume.

 Hungry Hippos with the bum.

Cheese and Crack.

Autumn Fun

We always go to the pumpkin patch each fall and this year did not disappoint.
Picking pumpkins, wheat berry digging, farm animals, face cut-outs, and fresh pressed apple cider and donuts for afterwards.

Drove past this random controlled house burning. It was intense!

Phone pictures:
Hook's Revenge release party. Heidi Schulz is a friend of ours.

Not a zombie, just a cupcake eater. The after-matter was even more colorful is you can imagine?

Pumpkin bowling on Tessa's field trip to the pumpkin patch.

 End of summer bike riding.

Driving the YW to the Temple.

Can't ever forget our Doernbecher visits.

 What?!

 Drinking homemade jam and applesauce.

Tessa turns 7

Tessa Elaine, what can you say about her?! She's a dollface, lover, organized, responsible, emotional, baby lover, chef, sensitive soul, and has such a sweet Testimony of the Gospel. I think the thing she was most excited about for this birthday was that it's "Only one more year till [she] gets baptized!!"

The day started with donuts, green smoothie and chocolate milk in bed.

She's easy to please and really doesn't require much! This is her excitement about 3 packages of gum.

She wanted her friends over for cake and the day was just about perfect.
We love our Girl!

School 2014-15

Another summer over, another year of book learnin' ahead!
Emory is in a 4th/5th split with a wonderful teacher, Mrs. Platz
Tessa is in 1st grade with a teacher who is new to our school, Ms. Skogstad. Tessa is over-the-moon excited to eat lunch at school!

 The First Day

 With her best friend, Maddie.

Fischer needed to wear his backpack too!

The Jog-a-thon is a fundraiser at the beginning of the school year, and the girls had a great time and had a lot of family members donate to their school.
