Utah Trip- Logan Fun!

It was a couple days after Memorial Day, but the girls really wanted to go up and see Grandpa Hulse. It was a beautiful day. Grandma sat down with them and they talked about things they loved and remembered about him. It was pretty special.

It's always fun at Willow Park with cousins, building fairy houses and sliding with the littles.

We went on a little hike up Logan Canyon, while Tessa went with Grandma to get her hair done. It was really nice and Fischer loved scattering dandelion seeds and trying to fall in the raging Logan River. Emory found a creepy homeless shelter. I ran back to Grandma's from first dam. What a great run, and the best part is running past the Temple.

We had splash pad and water slide fun. It was definitely a warm week.

Wow.

Trip to Utah- Christiansen Fun!

After the wedding we got to stick around and play with the family. Sadly, Josh and Sydney had to head back home to Washington, but everyone else got to hang with us.

We spent an afternoon at the Living Planet Aquarium.  Fischer loves fish, ironically! The girls loved the otters and penguins. I thought the eel was pretty freaky and cool.

The rope bridge was hilarious. Emory traipsed across, no problem. Tessa would never have made it across if Amanda hadn't followed behind her with (a lot of) encouragement. Fischer and Todd brought up the end of the bridge train.

Lots of days were spent in the pool. Chips are a must.

We always have such yummy food when we're at my parents. I think we had barbeque and bacon cheddar tater tots this night.

Amanda and Todd's Wedding

We went to Utah in May for my sister's wedding and to visit family. For the last wedding, we went the week before and worked our tails off getting everything ready. So this time, we came for the wedding and clean-up and I think it was a lot more fun... and less work!

Here are some of their Groomals.
Amanda and Todd Christensen
(Ha, only changed 2 letters in her new last name!)

The day we got there, was the rehearsal dinner so we headed up to the venue.
It was really pretty so we tried to take a few family pictures.

Why am I the only one standing up in this family picture??

Always and Forever.

It looked like it was going to rain on their wedding. We woke up to rain, and living in Oregon, I am allowed to say that it was buckets and buckets of rain. The ceremony and luncheon were up Millcreek Canyon at the Lodge and we almost moved the ceremony inside, but withstood the drizzle and wet grass and it was beautiful. Emory and Tessa were Flower Girls and I was one of the Bridesmaids/matrons.

Me, Amanda, Maddie (her best friend) and Kate.

I love my sister.

There was a nice reception at in my parent's backyard that night, but apparently I have no evidence of that in pictures.
