Disneyland!!!

Three years in the making...

We told the girls if we read the Book of Mormon as a family, then we could go to Disneyland.

So... we surprised them, the day of, and flew to California!
Later that day, they were even more surprised to see my parents, brother and sister-in-law at our hotel!!

On the tram.

One of our first rides. Our children are slightly obsessed with Star Wars, so this ride was a big hit.

Waiting while everyone rode Space Mountain. His reflection is too cute.

One of my favorite memories was getting on to Indiana Jones the day Cory wore this Captain America tee.  One of the Cast Members saw him, stopped the line, gave him an exaggerated salute and proceeded to shower him with such compliments as, "Thank you for your service to our Country!" and "How can we ever repay you?!"  It was so fun!

All things Star Wars.

Adam and Amanda.  SOoo glad they took time off to come!!

Mickey

Goofy was very funny.

Fischer's first character experience.  At least he tolerated it?

This was another fun one.
Adam is wearing a Goofy shirt and Goofy nearing suffocated him with a giant bro-hug!

Oh, the Teacups.
Amanda was a trooper.  She is pregnant and pretty much rode everything along with hiking all over the parks.

These faces sum up this ride, in my opinion.

I love to recreate an old picture we have of me and my brother at Disneyland when we were little. We did it last time and... this was meltdown number 7 of 53.

Disneyland December 2009

Disneyland, a long time ago.

Beignets are so good when they are covered in 2 cups of powdered sugar.

My beautiful Momma, on the Jungle Cruise.

I love this picture so much.
My dad's face... amazing.  Cory's profile... amazing.  The people in the other pod with the drink and mid-Pringle eating... amazing!

Fischer was truly star-struck!

Radiator Springs was probably one of our favorite things about this trip.
It's right out of the movie!

Luigi's tires, so much fun!
You have to lean side to side to get your floating tire to move and bump into other tires.

Huntington Beach.

Another wonderful picture progression.

Fischer LOVED the sand and Grandpa!

This was another fun memory.  Fischer was blowing bubbles, but my dad was making this crazy noise every time Fischer tried and he couldn't hold in the giggles!

2 and a half hours to wait to see Elsa and Anna, so we waved from outside.

Emory's favorite ride!  We had fast passes and stroller passes and I'm pretty sure she rode this a couple time in a row.

Fischer loved watching the blast off.

Grandpa celebrated a birthday with us. We love and miss spending time with these lovely people!

It was an unforgettable and exhausting trip, but so memorable.
Emory says her favorite memory was her first time on Screamin' California.
Tessa loved Grizzly River Run!
Cory and I celebrated a our 11th Anniversary during the trip, as well.  We had fun sipping Mint Juleps and enjoyed an evening in the park on our own.
Fischer had some rough nights, sleep wise, but I think he loved Cars Land.
