Fischer turns 3!

We're horrible parents!! We decided to take advantage of the fact that my mom would be here for the ballet recital, and booked a trip to Hawaii and she agreed to stay with our kids. A trip had been a long time coming, and even though we'd be gone for Fischer's actual Birthday, we celebrated before hand.

This kid LOVES his diggers and our dear neighbor, Angie, made him this cake. He was speechless!
When we sang Happy Birthday to him, and at the part where we all said Fischer, he said, "DIGGER!"

We sure love this BOY, and boy is he all boy.

Things about Fischer:
-He loves to be outside. Riding bikes, jumping on the trampoline, and digging in the sandbox.
-He is NOT ready to be potty trained yet. Trust me.
-His best friend is Lincoln and they are very nearly inseparable.
-He loves "his girls", even though he can often be found trying to murder them.
-His favorite color is Black.
-He still naps and I love a good cuddle nap with him!
-His hair is SO FLUFFY, so we keep it pretty short.
-His favorite foods include frozen greek yogurt, fruit leather, nutella sandwiches, and JUICE.

Ballet

It's that time of year again... Elsinore Recital! My parents and Josh and Sydney came to partake. This was the first year the girls have had people come watch and they were so excited to show off all their hard work, to somebody beside us.

Easter

I'm a year behind in blogging, but it feels good to be slowly chiseling away at all these pictures.
Why do I take all these pictures if I never do anything with them?? My children spend many afternoons reading our old blog books and I need to finish up the last one before our New Adventure takes over our lives!
We love EASTER!
The Bunny came on Saturday and I just love how he's been putting less candy and more snacks in those eggs. Emory doesn't even care for candy, but Tessa and Fischer are addicts!

The Golden Egg

 Weirdest hard-boiled egg.

 Doesn't sound like candy...

 Three gold dollars?

 This isn't CANDY??!

 Not impressed.

 They got over it quickly.

 Easter Sunday

Other Spring happenings:

Fischer in his sandbox, he must've dove in head first.

 Mowing the lawn with dad.

On Easter, we usually roll all our eggs down a nearby hill. Except for the fact that is was freezing and a torrential downpour, it was really entertaining!

Other spring pictures:

Random. sneak shot of me shopping at the store in my gym clothes :(

Grandma Lisa sent these Hoppy Taws for the girls, after they had so much fun playing hopscotch with her during Spring Break.
