That is the question that my children asked me every 10 minutes in the days leading up to Uncle Chase's visit. Grandma Lisa and Grandma Cookie came too, but Chase was the "Star of the Show," Tessa said. We did a lot of fun stuff in not a lot of days. They got here on Thursday night and left early Monday morning. On Friday, we showed them around Salem. First we picked berries for Aunt Kellie at the park.
Next, we walked around downtown, got some 5 Guys, and played at park and splash pad. That night, the Grandma's watched the kids while Cory and I went on a movie date.
On Saturday, we took them to the coast, specifically Pacific City/ Cape Kiwanda. We love it there because you can park on the beach, the boys can surf, and there are some small tide pools and a huge sand hill to hike up, where you can see a blow hole and some really stellar views.
Sunday, the Grandmas drove off and did their own thing (shopping and going to VooDoo) while Cory and I took the kids to the Gilbert house and Carousel.
We also fed the missionaries that night, so it was a jam packed, but very fun weekend!
