What's after June?

July!
We had a fun filled Fourth, with a Ward Breakfast and softball game.
There was a really cute Parade of States, that each kid dressed up as something from the state they picked.

Emory was a Wisconsin Cheese-Head and Tessa was a Nebraska Corn-Husker, just for her Uncle Adrian.

(Don't be fooled be her sign.  I don't know why they gave her Alabama!)

The girls watched a movie at home with friends after the game, and then we headed out to Party with more friends.  We had an awesome BBQ, with yummy food, fun, and Fireworks.  You could seriously see 5 firework shows from our friends balcony.  I made my mom's ever popular Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers.  She likes to mix the packet of cream cheese with a 1/2 cup to 1 cup of cheddar cheese, doesn't use a toothpick, and bastes the poppers with BBQ sauce (we love Sweet Baby Ray's) before cooking at 275 degrees for 45 min. and then 350 for 15 min.  Seriously, make them and you'll never take home any leftovers.

That weekend we had our first trip back to the coast with Fischer.
Cory and Wayne surfed and the kids were even crazy enough to get into the water.

Jackson, Emory, and James.

We had a fun day at our friends with water balloons and silly Plays put on by the kids.

Lots of playgroups at Splash Pads.

Proof that Fischer and I sat through all of them.

Handsome boys ready for church.

Tessa had a couple of days where she could barely make it through dinner awake.

First Real Smile caught on camera.

Fischer Fishing with a straw pole that Emory made him.

Blue Steel?

I love taking pictures off my camera.  Always a surprise random shot!
