The last week of school we had a bucket list of things like going to the library, getting snow cones at the park, and all sorts of other things.
I laugh, because they had been begging for snow cones all summer long and once they finally got them... they hated them! So I ended up eating two snow cones in one afternoon and crossed that off MY bucket list ;)
Emory started 2nd grade in September. She was excited and nervous because, once again, she was going to be at a new school. She loves learning, but is a little bored at school. She never complains about going, but I can tell she's like, "I already know this stuff, Mom." The reason why we started her at a new school was because we knew we'd be moving a couple weeks after school started and wanted to avoid too many big changes at one time. Too bad her teacher didn't get the memo. He resigned a week and a half after school began. Luckily, the transition with the new teacher worked out well and Emory really likes her because they both "LOVE books," as Emory would tell you.
Emory also did a month of Karate, with her friend Merrick. She loved it, but us moms weren't to psyched about the teachers and the moolah required.
Tessa continues to love ballet and she and her bestie, Berkleigh, are the Prima Donnas of the group. They actually have some sweet skills!
Fischer grew and grew and grew. He went in for his 6 month appointment and weighed 19 lbs. 7 oz. (75%) and was 28 1/2 inches long (97%). He is scooting all over the place and it scares me to death. He's still wobbly at sitting up, but is getting better. He continues to love food and tries really hard to keep up with his sisters. He's had a sick spell but hopefully we're on the road to recovery.
