I love my girls!

I've been going hair accessory crazy lately. I started making bows, flowers, clips, you name it . . . I stick it on a clip! Anyways, I want to know if you think this flower is too big for Tessa? Lots of people put huge flowers on their babies head, and I'm sittin' on the fence on this one. (PS She was totally fine all day, it never bothered her, or tipped her over - if that influences you at all!)
Take this poll please? ------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Anyways . . . this week, Cory and I keep looking at each other and thinking that these girls are growing up too fast! I found myself cuddling Tessa the other night, long after she'd fallen asleep, wondering what happened to my baby?!? Everyday brings and new adventure or 10!
Yesterday was a a prime example of our usual routine, running from one thing to the other. We had play group, nap, picnic at Splash Park, swimming lessons, grocery shopping, dinner, and 30 minutes of wind-down free time before bed! Yikes! I just feel that our days may be numbered here in AZ, and we want to take advantage of the fun times and friends that we have.
The pictures have piled up on my camera again, but I figure most of you (at least in Utah) won't mind - hopefully they'll tied you over till we come in ONE WEEK!!!

Announcements galore!

So, we have a few announcements to make . . .
Just Kidding! I just loved this picture and wanted to share it with the world, since I'm glad I won't be going down this path for a while -
Go Mirena!
Anyways, Cory was out of town last week at this COSGP (don't ask me what it means?) Conference in St. Loius. He ran for a national position, thinking that there was no chance that he'd win. He WON! Here is his official title: Council of Student Government Presidents National Vice Chair - Phew, that's a mouth full, and also the answer to COSGP. Congrats to him!
Cory's little brother Lucas received his mission call which we're super excited about! He'll be going to Kiev, Ukraine! He leaves for the MTC in August.

Yikes!!!

So I got bored this afternoon . . . and found out that I have a man face!! For cryin' out loud, could there at least have been one more female face to chose from? I'm gonna keep trying different pictures until I find one that looks like Jessica Alba or Angelina Jolie.

Pictures

The pictures continue to pile up on our camera! Here's a couple for your viewing pleasure:
I know I've said before that Emory named our whole family after the Super Why characters, but we have 3rd names now - the Peter Pan characters. Cory is none other than Emory's one true love, Peter Pan. I am Wendy, Emory is Tinkerbell, and Tess is, of course, Captain Hook! Em was a little sneaky on this one, though. If you remember from the movie, Tink tells the lost boys to shoot Wendy down, she tries to have Wendy shanghiaed, and eventually sends Wendy on her way to grow up, so Tinkerbell can have Peter all to herself. This is exactly what Emory wants - me out of the picture. She's always telling me, "You stay here! My daddy is taking me on a bike ride." Or the classic, "Mom, you hold Tessa for Dad, I need him." What a little stinker! My mom put this little get-up together for her and there's many a day, when I've gotten her dressed and she changes her mind and comes down in this. PS She got this super cute bob a couple weeks ago, from a friend in the ward! Here are the girls all ready for our morning walk. I was feeling a little (actually a lot) out of shape, so we started walking with my friend and her daughter in the morning. We do 4 miles under 45 minutes! It has been great, more energy, better fitting clothes, what could more could I ask for? The girls love to be outside too. We visit the citrus orchard and cows on our way, and occasionally see a fire truck as we pass the station.Last, but not least, this funny video of Tessa. It's a month or two old, but I just love it! Plus it shows off her perma-pout!

A little update . . .

Things continue to move nearly at the speed of light around here! The girls are getting over a stomach flu, which is always a pleasure - thank heaven for Resolve, Oxi-Clean, and Spray-N-Wash! Emory tested into the preschool swimming class for lessons that begin next week. I love that you can take outdoor swimming lessons in April! Tessa will watch from the sidelines, but will definitely be swimming in UT, if it ever stops snowing. Cory is going strong and has seemed a little more relaxed lately. The girls light up every time he's around! I've been busy with callings, making meals for sickies in the ward, walking, bow making and the shopping that goes along with that, and the list goes on!
It's official that Emory, Tessa, and I will be in Utah from May 2nd to June 12th! We'll miss Cory something fierce, but he'll do so much better studying without us here to bug him.

This is Emory and her good friends Carmella and Drea. Here's a picture from St. Patrick's Day, Emory didn't know what to think.
Tessa's new thing = lip biting. These awesome shoes are from a cousin that lives in Sweden.
